Frequently Asked Questions and Concerns
-
Is it by appointment only?
-
Yes, our clinic operates on an appointment priority basis. For first-time visitors, please book through our reservation form or call. For subsequent visits, please schedule in advance via our reservation form or LINE. However, for acute cases or same-day inquiries, we may accommodate walk-ins if there are available slots. Please contact us in such cases.
-
Are there cancellation fees?
-
Full amount of appointment fee will be charged for for same day cancellation with or without notice. We do not charge cancellation fees if you notify us by 5:00 PM the day before your appointment. Please refer to our cancellation policy for details. Additionally, if you’re late for your appointment, we may have to shorten the treatment time or modify the session, but the full fee will still apply.
-
How often should I come in for treatment?
-
The frequency of visits depends on the aim of achieving changes and stability in symptoms. Initially, we recommend visiting 1-2 times per week. As your symptoms stabilize and your body adjusts, we gradually decrease the frequency, spacing appointments to every 2 weeks, then every 3 weeks, and eventually to once a month. The time required for recovery can vary depending on lifestyle factors such as sleep, diet, exercise habits, as well as individual constitution. In our clinic, we typically recommend monitoring changes in symptoms and body condition over 3-6 visits. Of course, some individuals may experience relief after just one session, while others may see gradual improvements starting from the 5th or 6th session. However, in some cases, it may take longer for symptoms to improve.
-
What attire should I wear?
-
Please come in casual attire. We provide treatment wear at our clinic. However, if you prefer to wear your own, bring comfortable clothing such as shorts or sweatpants.
-
Can men receive treatment?
-
Yes, we welcome male clients at our clinic.
-
Can children receive treatment?
-
Yes, absolutely. However, the treatment fee for children is the same as for adults. We’ve noticed an increase in concern over children’s posture due to longer study hours and the widespread use of smartphones. Additionally, we pay attention to sports injuries, so feel free to inquire.
-
Can elderly individuals receive treatment?
-
Yes, certainly. Regardless of age, please feel free to utilize our services. We also offer senior discounts for those aged 70 and above. While we cannot reverse degenerative joint changes due to age, we can help alleviate pain and improve functions like bending and walking. Let’s aim for an active, healthy life regardless of age.
-
Can two people receive treatment simultaneously?
-
Unfortunately, we do not provide simultaneous treatments for two people. Each client is attended to individually.
-
Can I receive treatment even if I don’t have any pain or symptoms?
-
Yes, we recommend receiving treatment even if you’re not currently experiencing pain or symptoms. Adjustments to joint mobility and muscle tissue can prevent injuries from occurring. We suggest treatment as a form of wellness care for preventing symptom recurrence and promoting overall health.
-
Is treatment painful?
-
Pain perception varies among individuals. Chiropractic adjustments are generally painless, but adjustments to muscles and fascia may cause some discomfort depending on the condition of your muscles. We adjust the intensity of treatment according to your condition and pain level, so rest assured.
-
I’m afraid of the cracking sound during adjustments…
-
We understand that some clients may feel anxious about adjustments, especially during their first chiropractic session. We provide thorough explanations and perform treatments only after ensuring your understanding and agreement. Additionally, there are various adjustment techniques available, and we tailor the treatment to suit your preferences through communication.
-
I’ve experienced acute lower back pain…
-
If you’re able to visit us, we recommend receiving treatment as soon as possible. Even if you’re unable to lie down or turn over, we can still assist you. There are options available, so don’t hesitate to reach out! (While muscle tension and spasms may improve with 2-3 days of rest, they won’t lead to fundamental improvements. We’ll investigate the cause of your condition and strive for quick symptom improvement and functional recovery.)
-
Can I come in if I’ve sprained my ankle?
-
Yes, absolutely. If you don’t have fractures or dislocations, we can provide adjustments, treatments to joints (muscles, fascia, etc.) and apply taping. We recommend prompt adjustment to prevent reoccurrence.
