What is the optimal frequency of treatment?
In order to achieve changes or stability in symptoms, we recommend 1-2 sessions per week initially. As your symptoms improve and your body stabilizes, we gradually increase the intervals between sessions, moving to once every two weeks, then once every three weeks, and eventually once a month. The frequency may vary depending on factors such as sleep, diet, exercise habits, and individual lifestyle, which can influence the recovery time. At our clinic, we typically recommend 3-6 sessions until changes in symptoms or body condition are observed. Of course, some individuals may experience relief after just one session, while others may see gradual improvements starting from the 5th or 6th session. In some cases, it may take longer to observe improvements, such as with conditions like spinal stenosis or neurological symptoms. After the initial phase, depending on the symptoms, we may schedule follow-up appointments at two-month or three-month intervals, or some individuals may choose to continue with maintenance care once a month or every two months, including for prevention purposes. For those engaged in activities such as regular computer work, manual labor, or prolonged standing, which may impose significant physical strain, we recommend monthly maintenance sessions to refresh and prevent recurrence. It’s important to avoid excessive or intense stimulation as it may be counterproductive for the body. The body and brain have a natural tendency to revert to their previous state, so it’s crucial to provide consistent, appropriate stimulation and treatment to teach the brain new patterns and stabilize the condition. We believe that this approach is the most effective path to healing.
